Mr. McGillivray's practice group limits the number of injured victims it chooses to represent in order to achieve the best possible result for the client, and the referring attorney, if applicable.
We represent injured victims and their families involved in a wide variety of substantial personal injury claims, with particular emphasis on third party construction site accident claims, premises liability claims (including but not limited to slip, trip and fall claims, dram shop, bar room and nightclub assaults, negligent hiring and negligent security claims) medical malpractice, product liability, wrongful death, aviation, admiralty, and motor vehicle claims.
One of the keys to our success is our ability to limit the number of clients we represent. This allows us to choose only clients of the highest character and integrity, which in turn allows us to devote the time and resources necessary to prepare a winning strategy. Each client and his or her potential claim is thoroughly examined and evaluated by a team consisting of an investigator, one or more nationally renowned liability and vocational expert, one or more highly successful plaintiff's attorney, and finally, one prominent defense attorney, in order to determine the merits of the claim.
Once we choose to accept a matter we prepare it thoroughly for trial. We keep the client and the referring attorney informed throughout all phases of the litigation and/or settlement process. We have found that by carefully selecting clients with meritorious claims, and limiting our case inventory, we have been able to maximize recovery whether through settlement, mediation, arbitration or trial.
We welcome and appreciate inquiries from other plaintiff attorneys, whether to develop ideas in your own case, or to discuss a potential referral.
