ABOUT DAVID J. SUTTON:
David received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts magna cum laude in 1978 and his Juris-doctorate degree from Hofstra Law School in 1981. In 1990, David received a diploma from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy for Advance Trial Advocacy Skills and was invited to teach at the institute the following year. David has also received a degree from the New York University School of Continuing Education in Real Property Law. David is counsel to an international trade association and has lectured for that association on issues pertaining to contract law, collection practices and commercial litigation strategies. David has been representing clients in business and personal matters for more than 24 years. David is admitted to practice law in New York federal and state courts and is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association.
David is credited with receiving the first reported six figure verdict from a Manhattan jury for personal injuries and property damage sustained by a client arising from exposure to a toxic mold and fungus condition. David also defended a Long Island armored car company accused of misappropriating over $50 million dollars.
David has never lost sight of the importance of regular client contact, promptly responding to the needs of his clients and always searching for a solution that is cost-effective, sensible and in the best interests of his clients.
