Thomas C. Brady is a partner in the law firm of Brady & Swenson. He is a trial lawyer who concentrates in the prosecution of claims for personal injury caused by automobile, industrial and other accidents, medical malpractice, and products liability; Native American litigation; municipal law and criminal law.
Mr. Brady is a graduate of Niagara University and the University of Buffalo Law School. He began the practice of law in Cattaraugus County in 1973 and is admitted to practice in New York and Florida. He is a former City Court Judge and was the County Attorney of Cattaraugus County for several years.
Mr. Brady is recognized as an Advocate by the American Trial Lawyers Association and has been listed in Who's Who in American Law since 1990. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, New York State Bar (in which he was an elected member of the House of Delegates from 2003 t0 2009 and has served as a member of the Committee on the Tort System since 2005), Florida Bar and New York State Trial Lawyers Associations and is a past president of the Cattaraugus County Bar Association.
He served as vice-chair of the Allegany Regional Commission of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation from 1998 to 2005, and is a trustee of his church and a member of the Jamestown Community College Foundation Board of Directors. He served from 1994 to 2000 as a member of the Eighth Judicial District Attorney Grievance Committee.
MATTHEW R. SWENSON
Matthew R. Swenson is a partner in the law firm of Brady and Swenson. He is a trial lawyer who concentrates in the prosecution of claims for personal injury, employment discrimination, and criminal law.
Prior to joining Brady and Swenson, Mr. Swenson worked for five years with one of the nation's largest law firms and litigated cases in federal and state courts throughout the United States. Mr. Swenson graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School where he was a Note & Comment Editor for and Senior Member of the Buffalo Law Review. Mr. Swenson was a recipient of the Dean's Public Service Fellowship, and in connection therewith clerked at the United States Senate Office of Legal Counsel.
