Hardy Parkerson is a rough-and-tumble, down-in-the trenches, dog-eat-dog lawyer. He is an experienced civil and criminal lawyer and litigator and is experienced in handling Massive Toxic Tort Disaster claims. He has tried jury cases both in Federal and state courts. He is a former Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he taught Evidence and Criminal Procedure to undergraduates, most of whom were majoring in Criminal Justice and/or were law school bound.
He is a graduate of McNeese State University and of Tulane University School of Law, Class of 1966. He is a member of the Association of Federal Defense Lawyers, Federal Bar Association, Southwest Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. He is Dean of the College of Law of Central Louisiana University, as well as President and Chairman of the Board of Regents of Southern Christian University.
