We are committed to providing professional, yet personal, service to all our clients. When you call our offices, you will talk to our attorneys, not to their assistants. We believe in being responsive to our clients’ needs and concerns, and will promptly return all phone calls and directly respond to all questions with frank and honest answers. Our firm’s mission is to provide cost effective, results-driven legal counsel to both our business and individual clients. We recognize that many legal disputes can more economically be resolved through negotiation and settlement. If we believe that pre-trial resolution is in your best legal and financial interests, we will use our extensive mediation skills to bring about a full and fair settlement to your legal matter. However if necessary, we will always aggressively advocate for you at trial.
At BLK, we use advanced state-of-the-art legal technology to manage and present evidence in our cases, and to provide work product, reports, and documentation efficiently and economically. We are accustomed to working within budgets, our rates are competitive, and we often use alternative fee arrangements on certain matters.
We are licensed to practice in all federal and state courts in Alabama and Louisiana, before the 5th and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeal and before the United States Supreme Court. Because of our extensive experience in federal court litigation, we regularly receive referrals of federal matters from other law firms and serve as local counsel in many federal court proceedings.
