Kinney, Fernandez, and Boire P.A.

The experienced team of attorneys, paralegals and legal assistants at Kinney, Fernandez & Boire have over 100 years of combined experience in helping clients seek the damages they deserve in all personal injury related cases, wrongful death cases, workers' compensation cases and nursing home abuse cases.

Our office also represents individuals facing criminal charges. We do so with the promise that our attorneys and staff will do everything possible to protect your constitutional rights and to provide you with personalized and individual attention. Facing a criminal charge can be very difficult and it is important that your questions and concerns are addressed.

Regarding our personal injury clients, we understand that these cases are very important because they deal with issues very personal to the client. A
person's health, physical fitness, ability to work and play are vital components in everyone's life. Therefore, we make great efforts to maintain a high level of service.

An important responsibility that we have involves staying abreast of the laws of tampa dealing with personal injury cases. Matters dealing with tampa's No-Fault insurance, the tampa Financial Responsibility Act, tampa's seatbelt laws, laws of comparative negligence, joint and several liability, and permissive use are all important to any automobile accident case. Other cases deal with premises liability, nursing home abuse, security and safety issues, products liability and homeowners insurance coverage issues. Tampa's Supreme Court, our District Court of Appeals, and our Circuit and County Courts are constantly issuing new decisions that effect the laws of tampa. The Tampa Rules of Evidence, the tampa Rules of Civil Procedure and the Tampa Rules of Criminal Procedure are also reviewed and effected on a constant basis by the courts of our state. Therefore, the attorneys of Kinney, Fernandez & Boire continually review recent decisions and publications in order to utilize the most current decisions to the advantage of our clients.

Our lawyers are proud members of several professional organizations that help us in maintaining a high level of service. Our attorneys are Eagle members and active participants with
The Academy of Tampa Trial Lawyers and are also active in the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association. Continuing Legal Education is an important part of our practice, and our memberships in the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Pinellas County Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Section of the Tampa Bar help us stay current on the changing face of tampa law. Our attorneys have completed a number of seminars on a wide range of topics, including wrongful death cases, evidence, insurance disputes, personal injury protection, driving under the influence, criminal felonies and misdemeanors, bad faith in the insurance industry and many, many more.

Our attorneys have been honored to serve on several boards, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association and the
South Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Our service to the Tampa Bay community has also included service on the Board of Directors for Tampa Catholic High School, sponsoring little league baseball teams, church organizations and events, and sponsorship of the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce Health Care Spotlight Awards.

For all of our clients we maintain a simple philosophy:

Customer service is as important in the legal profession as it is in any other industry. With this philosophy in mind, our attorneys and staff make special efforts to give our clients a high level of comfort and compassion. We strive to achieve this goal in a straight forward manner: We return phone calls. The attorneys meet personally with our clients. We take the necessary time to answer questions and explain all aspects of our client's case. We regularly review files and calendar dead lines so cases do not last any longer than necessary. We deal professionally with insurance companies, opposing counsel and the Court to ensure that our client's case is being heard and properly evaluated. We treat our clients with respect and dignity.

In short, we recognize that the manner in which we treat our clients has a direct effect on our level of success. At Kinney, Fernandez & Boire, regardless of the outcome of any particular case, we want each client to leave our office knowing that we did all that we could to achieve the best possible result.
