Paul Kruse
Profile
Paul Kruse joined the law firm after graduation from law school in 1981 and has been a partner since 1984. He is a past member of the management committee and has been a member of the firm's litigation section for over 20 years. Concentrating his practice in personal injury litigation, he has extensive experience in handling catastrophic damage and wrongful death claims involving all types of personal injury liability cases. Mr. Kruse has handled thousands of injury claims and has tried over 90 civil jury trials in state and federal courts over his past 24 years with the firm. These trials have involved a full range of personal injury matters, including product liability, premises liability, motor vehicle collisions and medical malpractice claims.
He takes pride in the fact that the civil jury trials he has tried have been throughout Indiana. A lifetime Hoosier, he has personal injury experience with appearances in over 40 Indiana counties and federal court for both the northern and southern districts of Indiana. Mr. Kruse also represents injury victims outside the state of Indiana, including Illinois and Ohio. In representing injured persons for the past two decades, Mr. Kruse has obtained numerous settlements each year from defendants and their insurance companies. His experience in representing victims who have suffered traumatic and catastrophic damages has established his reputation in the state as an effective and experienced personal injury attorney.
Appointments/Memberships
Mr. Kruse presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. He is a past president of the Boone County Bar Association and a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Kruse is also founding director and president of the Boone County YMCA, past president of BehaviorCorp Mental Health Associations and a past member of the Board of Wesley Manor Retirement Community.
Pete Obremskey
Profile
Pete Obremskey practices in the areas of personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, and civil litigation. He has years of experience handling complex and catastrophic personal injury cases on behalf of injured citizens from Indiana and throughout the midwest. In addition to his personal injury practice, Mr. Obremskey handles various civil litigation cases and practices in both state and federal courts. Specifically, in addition to practicing in Indiana state courts, Mr. Obremskey is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, Second and Seventh Circuit Courts, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana, and the U.S. Court of Military Appeals.
Mr. Obremskey has served as President of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and currently serves on the association’s board of directors as a director emeritus. He has distinguished himself by obtaining multiple verdicts and settlements in excess of One Million Dollars. He was named as one of the top personal injury attorneys in Indianapolis by Indianapolis Monthly magazine.
Honors/Awards
In addition to his many professional honors, Mr. Obremskey was a decorated athlete. While at Jeffersonville High School, he was named to the Indiana High School All-Star basketball team. While attending Indiana University, Mr. Obremskey was a two sport athlete where he played basketball and baseball. He was captain of the basketball team and a member of the 1957 and 1958 Big Ten Conference Champions. In 1993, Mr. Obremskey was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
Tony Patterson

Tony Patterson has extensive experience representing personal injury victims and wrongful death survivors throughout Indiana and the Midwest. He has worked hard for victims with serious injuries, including brain and spinal cord damage. Mr. Patterson’s personal injury practice includes diverse, specialized concentrations in areas such as automobile and trucking accidents, medical malpractice and all other areas of the firm’s injury practice.
Mr. Patterson has obtained numerous million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients, including a $7,000,000 verdict, which was the largest reported Indiana physician malpractice jury verdict as of its entry in February 2004. In recognition of his achievements on behalf of his clients, he has been honored with admittance into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an exclusive organization recognizing “The Top Trial Lawyers in America.” He has also been recognized by Law & Politics in Indianapolis Monthly magazine as an Indiana Super Lawyer, in the area of personal injury law. This designation is limited to the top five percent of Indiana attorneys.

Honors/Awards
Mr. Patterson competed as an accomplished athlete while playing basketball at L&M High School in Lyons, Indiana, and collegiately at Purdue and SMU. When in high school, he was runner-up in voting for Indiana’s Mr. Basketball award and was featured in Sports Illustrated magazine. He was named a Converse All-American and was a member of the Indiana All-Star team. When at Purdue, his Boilermakers won the 1987 Big Ten Conference and at SMU, his Mustangs won the 1988 Southwest Conference.
