it's easy to feel overwhelmed when you're faced with unexpected medical expenses and loss of income. The insurance company for the person who caused your injury is working hard to limit their liability to you. You need an experienced attorney to protect you and your family.
For 37 years, the McGlone Law Office has been representing ordinary people injured in accidents. When you hire the McGlone Law Office, you receive:
• the benefit of our experience
• immediate action on your case
• personal attention from an attorney
When you work with the family law team at the McGlone Law Office, you'll never be delegated to a young, inexperienced attorney. You will work directly with Jerry, Jim or Dan McGlone.
We have represented clients in lawsuits against federal, state, and local governments; corporations of all sizes including GM, Eli Lilly, and Goodyear. We've sued banks, insurance companies, railroads, nursing homes, and a wide variety of businesses, as well as individuals. No case is too large...or too small for the McGlone Law Office.
Once you have signed a release for the insurance company, you cannot ever recover moreÉeven if your health deteriorates at a later date. Part of our job is to advise you about when, and if, the right time has come to settle your case. If your claim is not settled or a lawsuit filed within the applicable time period, you will lose your rights. We know which time limitations apply and will make sure that everything necessary to pursue your claim is done within the required deadline.

Gerald H. (Jerry) McGlone
Jerry grew up in Terre Haute and graduated from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology with honors. He served on active duty in the Army Corps of Engineers for two years and worked in engineering for four years. He attended I.U. School of Law where he and his twin brother graduated first and second in their class. Jerry has five children, three of whom are lawyers.
Jerry has successfully tried a variety of cases ranging from personal injury accidents resulting in permanent disabilities to construction site accidents, defective product cases, contract disputes, fire losses, real estate disputes and even defending a client charged with first degree murder.
His engineering background has been especially helpful in representing injured people in defective product cases, construction site accidents and injuries caused by defective premises. At one time, he defended insurance companies in accident cases. Now he uses that experience to make insurance companies pay what they owe.
Jerry concentrates on personal injury cases. He has represented several lawyers in various types of cases and has handled public interest cases. One case involved a river bayou in Sullivan County that was threatened with takeover by private landowners. He undertook a lawsuit to have the bayou declared public property under the Ordinance of Congress which created Indiana and other states in the Northwest Territory. After a ten year legal battle and a jury trial, the seven mile long bayou was declared public property, preserving a piece of Indiana in its natural state. This litigation was done as a public service to the people of Indiana without charge.
Jerry is admitted to practice before the Indiana Courts, the Federal District Courts in Indiana and the 7th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American, Indiana and Terre Haute Bar Associations, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
He is proud to have represented so many citizens in recovering damages to which they were entitled.
