In addition, three experienced legal assistants, Joyce Wahlquist, Michelle Bischoff, Pat Bretz and Erica Murburg readily fulfill the duties of the support staff, assisting in the filing of applications and other filings pertaining to your case.
Mike Murburg - An efficient Florida Disability Attorney
N. Michael Murburg, Jr., Mike, a native of northern New Jersey, was graduated from Princeton University in 1977. In 1986 Mike was graduated from Florida State University School of Law with honors. From 1986 to 1990, Mike served as an assistant state attorney in the Sixth Judicial Circuit, where he was responsible for the prosecution of thousands of criminal cases, ranging from misdemeanors to murder. Mike has litigated to jury verdict over 100 jury trials and, over the past fourteen years has handled hundreds of personal injury and social security disability cases.
In 1992, Mike began this law firm, originally with one office in New Port Richey. As his firm grew, Mike opened additional offices in Dade City and in the Hudson/Spring Hill area. Mike is licensed to practice law in Florida and Washington state, and is admitted to practice before various federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court. Mike is a member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and the West Pasco Bar Association. Mike is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator.
Carol J. Young Wilson - A specialized Civil Litigation Lawyer
Carol J. Young Wilson was graduated from Brown University in 1976, with honors, and from Villanova University School of Law in 1979, where she was an editor of the Villanova Law Review.
Carol has been admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and Florida and is also admitted to practice before the United State Supreme Court. In 1983, she became a member of the Florida Bar and worked as an attorney for Legal Services of Greater Miami, and then as an assistant public defender in Miami. After litigating criminal trials for over five and a half years in West Palm Beach and Miami, Carol began working as a criminal appellate lawyer in 1990. She has handled over three hundred appeals, resulting in over 130 reported decisions in Florida. Carol began working for the firm in 2002, and handles civil litigation and appeals.
Support Staff
Our support staff consists of three experienced legal assistants, Joyce Wahlquist, Michelle Bischoff, Pat Bretz and Erica Murburg. They are well trained and committed to be responsive to the litigation and claims needs of our clients. We routinely deal with insurance adjusters and physicians offices in preparing our client’s cases. Our support staff is knowledgeable about our client’s claims and is readily able to answer our clients’ questions about the day-to-day cases developments.
Once the firm is retained, our staff will assist you with the filing of all applications and filings pertaining to your case. Our offices are computerized and networked. All offices have cable internet access to the pertinent websites providing court docketing information, legal research and on line social security disability applications and forms.
