Most people are concerned about the cost of legal representation. Without sitting down and discussing your case in depth, it is impossible to know how time consuming and complicated your case may be. It is for that reason, at Stevens & Schweinzger, the cost of your case will be discussed at your consultation.

Our clients have found our fees to be very reasonable given our expertise, experience, and credentials. Here are some general things to know:

• In Criminal cases, you may be charged a flat fee or a retainer that will cover most expenses up to the point of trial. Your fee will be based on the level of crime, the stage of the case, and the amount of work expected for the case.
  
  
• In Domestic Relation cases, you may be charged a retainer as well as hourly billing. The fees are determined based upon what type of case it is, i.e; divorce, custody, support, etc.
  
  
• Any type of billing will be discussed during your consultation so you will know beforehand what type of payment is expected.
  
  
• At Stevens & Schweinzger, we provide payment plans for clients. We also accept major credit cards, personal and business checks, money orders and cash.
