Mr. Pickering has represented those who have suffered losses caused by catastrophic personal injury or by the death of a loved one. For nearly thirty years, Mr. Pickering has represented clients suffering catastrophic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputations, major burn injuries, electrocution and shock injury, orthopaedic and other internal injuries, chronic pain syndromes and other injuries, and the families of those who have passed away due to the negligence of others.
Mr. Pickering is licensed to practice law in the federal and state courts of Colorado, Wyoming and California. He is a current member of the Board of Directors, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and a past Co-Chair of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Amicus Committee, responsible for filing "friend of the court briefs" in the Supreme Court of Colorado and other courts. Mr. Pickering is also a member of the American Association for Justice, Professional Negligence Section, and the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association. He is a former judicial law clerk to a Chief Judge of a United States District Court and to a Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
