Highest Grade - Immigration Law

Michael knows what it means to give a voice to those with none.  While a law student at the David A. Clarke, School of Law, he participated in two of the school's nationally recognized legal clinics, where he represented HIV+ individuals with custody disputes, quazi-criminal child support enforcement, social security disability appeals and permanency planning.

Michael's immigration experience began in law school, where he received the highest grade in the class that semester.  That summer, he worked as an intern with the Catholic Charities' Hogar Hispano, where he assisted immigrants in removal/deportation proceedings, filed visa petitions and assisted the public advocacy mission of the organization. 

In addition to his family law and immigration experience, he has personal injury and banking compliance experience.

Michael speaks Spanish.  He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
