Jeffry V. Serra is primarily responsible for cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, business, landlord/tenant rights, DUI and general litigation matters. Mr. Serra is a graduate of the Akron School of Law and was formerly a law clerk for The Ferruccio Law Firm.

Born in 1952, Samuel J. Ferruccio, Jr. established The Ferruccio Law Firm LPA in 1979. As President and Senior Partner of The Ferruccio Law Firm, Mr. Ferruccio is dedicated to providing the highest caliber of assistance to all individuals seeking legal advice. His pursuit of protecting individual rights has led to hundreds of successful personal injury cases, making Mr. Ferruccio one of Stark County’s most accomplished attorneys and leading litigators. Along with personal injury, Mr. Ferruccio’s practice areas also include medical malpractice, wrongful death, criminal defense, DUI, civil litigation, family law, divorce, wills/probate, business law, and contract disputes.

Mr. Ferruccio began to cultivate his professional aptitude while attending Bowling Green State University where he became a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity; serving two terms as the fraternity’s Vice President. In 1974, Mr. Ferruccio graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Subsequently, Mr. Ferruccio continued with his education at Ohio Northern University College of Law where he served as a staff member (1976-1977) and then served as the Executive Editor (1977-1978) for the Ohio Northern University Law Review. In addition, he initiated, coordinated, and supervised the Fifth Annual Law Review Symposium. Mr. Ferruccio earned his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1979.

Soon after opening his law practice, Mr. Ferruccio was selected as the “Best New Lawyer in the Stark County Bar Association” in 1980 and also received the award of “Outstanding Young Man of America” in 1982. Furthermore, he was selected for the prestigious honor of “Who's Who in American Law” in 1986. Mr. Ferruccio’s most recent accolades included receiving the “2003 Italian American Festival Dedication Award” for his years of ongoing and dedicated community service. As a result, Mr. Ferruccio was honored with a Certificate of Recognition from Representative Mary M. Cirelli on behalf of The Ohio House of Representatives commending and congratulating Mr. Ferruccio on receiving the “2003 Italian American Festival Dedication Award.” The Ohio Senate also recognized Mr. Ferruccio with a commendation from the 125th General Assembly of Ohio, as promulgated by Senator Kirk Schuring, for exemplary achievement. The August 2003 edition of La Gazzetta Italiana newspaper featured an article about Mr. Ferruccio, titled Canton’s Italian-American Role Model, pertaining to the Dedication Award.
From 1980 - 1988, Mr. Ferruccio served as Special Counsel to Ohio Attorney General Anthony Celebrezze and served four years as Special Counsel to Ohio Attorney General Lee Fisher.
