Earlon L. Seeley, Jr.
Earlon L. Seeley, Jr., is a founding partner of the law firm of Pellegrini, Seeley, Ryan & Blakesley, P.C. He has practiced personal injury and workers’ compensation law since 1972, when he earned a Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School. Within the scope of personal injury law, Attorney Seeley has concentrated his efforts on behalf of victims of medical malpractice, product defects and construction site accidents. He has successfully settled a large number of serious personal injury claims, many in excess of $1 million.
Attorney Seeley has lectured at and served as chairman of numerous personal injury and workers’ compensation seminars for Massachusetts lawyers. He is a member of the Hampden County Bar Association, for which he served as co-chairman of its Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Subcommittees. As a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, he served on its Executive Committee on Workers’ Compensation. He is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association as well as the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, for which he currently serves on the Board of Governors.
Over the last decade, Attorney Seeley has been selected for inclusion in the annual publication, The Best Lawyers in America. Donald W. Blakesley
Concentrating in civil trial practice, Donald W. Blakesley has distinguished himself by recovering substantial awards and settlements for his clients in their claims for worker’s compensation and as the result of medical malpractice, product defects and personal injuries. A member of the firm since 1978, Attorney Blakesley is recognized as one of the top practitioners of workers’ compensation law in Massachusetts and is listed in the publication, The Best Lawyer’s in America.
Attorney Blakesley graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and cum laude from Western New England College School of Law, where he was on the Law Review. He held the position of Adjunct Professor of Law at Western New England College School of Law for 10 years, teaching that school’s only course in workers' compensation law.
He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts and before the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents and the Social Security Administration. Phyllis P. Ryan
Phyllis P. Ryan, a partner in the law firm, is a former registered nurse licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Connecticut. During the last 26 years, Attorney Ryan has focused in the area of medical malpractice. Her nursing background gives her an invaluable ability to understand complicated issues in medical diagnosis and treatment. This expertise and experience allows Attorney Ryan to identify aspects of care—or failure of care—that may have caused a client’s personal injury or medical malpractice.
In 1999, Attorney Ryan obtained a $5 million settlement on a medical malpractice case, the largest settlement ever in Western Massachusetts medical malpractice litigation.
In addition to medical malpractice, Attorney Ryan also handles personal injury cases in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
