James W. Nuebel is an experienced personal injury trial attorney who has zealously advocated and represented thousands of clients, accident victims and persons wrongfully denied insurance benefits since 1987. He has been in law practice in central Florida since 1990 and exclusively represents only those individuals and their families injured due to someone else's negligence as well as people wrongfully denied Social Security benefits by the government when they are disabled, unable to work and need assistance.
He was born in 1958 in Independence, Iowa where his father was a farmer but grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida where he attended public schools through high school graduation. While attending law school at FSU he discovered in his first year Torts class that he wanted to become a personal injury lawyer to help injured people and their families. During law school he worked for the Florida Commission on Ethics in Tallahassee, Florida, was a research aide for a published article in the Stetson Law Review: Voting Conflicts of Interest Under Florida's Code of Ethics for Public Officers and Employees, 15 Stet. L. Rev. 675 ( 1986 ) and worked as a certified legal intern for the State Attorney's Office, Sixth Judicial Circuit in Clearwater, Florida where he handled bench and jury trials in the misdemeanor section. Upon graduating law school he accepted a position with a law firm in St. Petersburg, Florida handling personal injury claims until he moved to central Florida where he was employed by various personal injury law firms before starting his own law practice.
James W. Nuebel is admitted to practice in all the state courts in Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is a member in good standing with The Florida Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association, the Florida Justice Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. He restricts his law practice to all personal injury claims, wrongful death claims, civil trial practice and Social Security claims.
He enjoys spending time with his wife and twin boys, working out at the downtown YMCA, yoga, is an avid runner who has competed in various 5k, 10k, 15k, half-marathons and the New York City Marathon, reading, traveling and is a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.
