Founding partners Rick Park and Angel Chenaur met in junior high school here in Federal Way and have been friends for 26 years. They each attended the University of Washington, and then on to Seattle University School of Law, each earning their degree of Juris Doctor. Rick and Angel opened a law practice together in 1999. Since then, Park Chenaur & Associates have focused on personal injury law, while also handling other areas including real estate, will drafting, and escrows.

Rick Park
Partner, Park Chenaur & Associates
Federal Way attorney Rick Park has handled thousands of personal injury cases, ranging from minor to catastrophic injuries. Rick graduated from the University of Washington in 1994 with a B.A. in Communications. After UW, he went on to law school and graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 1997. At SU Law, Rick interned at one of the first personal injury firms in Tacoma. Following graduation, Rick started his own law practice in Federal Way, focusing on personal injury. In 1999, he and Angel Chenaur joined to form personal injury firm Park Chenaur & Associates.
Rick actively participates in the Washington State Bar Association as well as the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association. He is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts throughout Washington State. Rick enjoys spending time with his family and friends and is an avid golfer.
Angel Chenaur

Federal Way attorney Angel Chenaur has handled thousands of personal injury cases, ranging from minor to catastrophic injuries. Angel also graduated from the University of Washington in 1994 with a B.S. in Political Science. After graduating, she went on to law school and graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 1998.
Angel began her career specializing in criminal and DUI defense. She joined lifelong friend Rick Park in 1999 to form personal injury firm Park Chenaur & Associates.
Angel actively participates in the Washington State Bar Association as well as the King County Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts throughout Washington State . Angel enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She loves to read, travel, ski and snowmobile.
Dan Gerl
Associate Attorney, Park Chenaur & Associates
Federal Way attorney Dan Gerl graduated from the University of Washington in 2002 with a B.A. in History. Prior to that, he worked as a graphic designer in Seattle for ten years. Dan went on to law school and graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2005.
Dan handled five jury trials as an intern with the Skagit County Prosecutor's Office before passing the Bar in 2005. Dan worked as a prosecutor for the next four years, including two in Federal Way, and to date has tried over forty cases before a jury. Dan joined Park Chenaur & Associates in 2010 and specializes in personal injury, DUI defense and traffic infractions.
Dan is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and is licensed to practice law throughout Washington state. Dan volunteers as a "Big Brother" with BBBS of Puget Sound. Dan enjoys design and architecture, travel, and recently took up winemaking.

Kimberly Yoon

Kimberly has been a member of the personal injury legal team at Park Chenaur for over ten years. She attended the University of Washington and began working shortly thereafter. She has been an integral component to the firm’s success and maintains a broad range of duties, including communicating with clients, administering intake of new cases, spearheading initial investigations, overseeing case management, monitoring treatment status, and assisting with case file quality control.
Kimberly participates actively in her church and community. She loves to sing and travel and is fluent in English and Korean. She has particularly strong organizational skills and is known around the office for her uncompromising commitment to the client.
Malissa Lesh
Personal Injury Assistant
Malissa’s honesty, client commitment and positive attitude are wonderful attributes that contribute to her job performance and place in the firm. She has medical records and billing organization down to a science. She is utterly relentless and focused when it comes to helping our clients. She likewise has a vast range of duties that include communicating with clients, organizing treatment histories, assisting with litigation exhibit preparation and calendaring pre-litigation examinations.
She currently has one daughter and another child on the way. Having been born and raised in this area, her ties and roots to the community are strong. She loves to boat, travel and ride four wheelers in her free time.
Sandra An
Office Manager
Sandra is responsible for a broad scope of duties and handles a variety of tasks with a focus on the overall direction of the firm. Under her management the firm effectively underwent relocation and a major change of the computer system. She helps with developing firm policies and is crucial to daily operations. Sandra also maintains the firm's court appearance calendar, communicates with clients, and assists in administering files though the litigation process. She oversees case status and communicates with clients and insurance adjusters daily. Sandra speaks English and Korean.
Sandra attended the University of Washington, majoring in history. Her previous experience provided a strong background in customer service. She has one daughter and loves to snowboard, ice skate and in-line skate when it is not raining.
Mitchel Pinedo
Legal Assistant
Mitchel has an impressive work history and impeccable work ethic. He is fluent in English and Spanish. He is constantly striving to increase office efficiencies and coordinates record requests to coincide with treatment completion status. He has been integral in planning and form generation to streamline case management and always strives to improve client updates. He communicates with insurance adjusters regularly to facilitate settlement and oversees PIP payment and bill tracking. He requests and organizes medical billings and records, maintains client intake lists, and packages files for insurance review.
Mitchel was also raised in the area and is active in his community and church. Coming from a large and close family, much of his free time is spent within this network of family and friends. He is best known for his soccer skills, but also loves to travel and run.
Gina Kim

Gina is an important member of our personal injury team. Her experience in customer relations and real estate has provided a baseline for her innovative approach to case management. She has helped coordinate office operations and acted as a crucial liaison for the clients with translation needs. She assists with administrative support tasks and is responsible for records management, intake file organization, ordering medical documentation and investigative records as well.
