Oleg Cross is a recognized and award-winning trial attorney. A graduate of Duke University School of Law, Mr. Cross honed his legal skills at Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker LLP and Cooley LLP – two of the nation’s premier law firms. There, he represented Fortune 500 companies and their officers and directors in a broad range of complex litigation matters, including high-stakes cases, in which the amount in controversy exceeded one hundred million dollars.
Since founding Cross Law Group, Mr. Cross has used his experience representing large institutional clients to benefit ordinary people. In 2007 and 2008, Mr. Cross was recognized by the San Diego Daily Transcript as one of the Top “Young Attorneys.” In 2009, Mr. Cross was given the “40 under 40” award by the San Diego Metropolitan Magazine.
Mr. Cross has been very active in pro bono matters and, in 2008, was awarded the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services by the California State Bar. Mr. Cross has spoken and published articles on a wide variety of legal topics. His co-authored book, Nail Your Law Job Interview: The Essential Guide to Firm, Clerkship, Government, In-House, and Lateral Interviews (Career Press, 2009) – is available on Amazon.com.
Mr. Cross is active in the legal community and is a member of the Board of Directors of the New Lawyers Division of the San Diego County Bar Association. Mr. Cross is also an alumnus of the Louis M. Welsh American Inn of Court in San Diego. Above all, Mr. Cross understands the importance of giving back to the community. He regularly volunteers time and financial support to “Meals on Wheels” of Greater San Diego, which provides food, support, and independence to seniors.
