Motorcycle Injury Lawyer Chuck Koro

Chuck,  I'm sending this to let you and your team know just how much I appreciate the firm and what was done for me and my family.  Chuck, I would like to thank you personally, because I know that there were times where you helped me, and someone else wouldn't have.  But you helped me and my family out anyway. Thanks for making me feel a part of every bit of the case, and for giving me good advice

I really can't thank you enough Chuck...you have been great.   Kenbert Joseph

Motorcycle Injury Attorney Chuck Koro started riding motorcycles  in the 70s when he was in college.  His dorm mates may remember him taking his bike up to his room in the elevator in peak snow season. He still managed to get some riding in up and down the hallways. A lot has changed, but not his enthusiasm for motorcycles and the motorcycle community. After growing up in the inner city of Boston (where some days you had to use your fists to make your point), and graduating from college, he moved to Los Angeles, CA to go to law school, never figuring that his love of motorcycles would intersect with his legal career.

He graduated law school in two years, second in his class, and began his now twenty-year career as a litigator. He spent the first six years working for defense firms, mainly working for insurance companies. He then moved over to the plaintiff’s side, solely representing injured consumers against insurance companies. In 2001, he joined forces with his current partner, renowned motorcycle attorney, Russ Brown, and has been litigating motorcycle injury cases ever since.

Motorcycle Injury Attorney Chuck Koro has recovered millions of dollars for his clients, which is especially rewarding for him because it is for fellow bikers, who have been injured at the hands of negligent drivers. Still the fighter, he's a tough litigator, expert negotiator and strategist and won't back down until he gets the best results for his clients. His years of working for insurance companies make him dangerous to them and their lawyers because he understands their tactics from an inside perspective.

Chuck Koro is no stranger to the courtroom and will do whatever is necessary to make the insurance companies pay his clients what they deserve, including the use of accident reconstructionists, biomechanical engineers, vocational rehabilitationists, economists and medical experts. He has written more than 50 articles on maximizing recoveries for injured motorcyclists.

Chuck lives, breathes, eats and sleeps motorcycle law. He loves to win and does so with integrity and honor. Just ask his clients.

"I was driving down the 134 and a truck pulled up next to me and gave me a
thumbs up.  I put my window down and he said "Yeah Russ Brown we ride
motorcycles."

Julie Henderson, Los Angeles, CA

California is a unique State for motorcyclists due to it's lane splitting law.  Lane splitting refers to the practice of riding a motorcycle between lanes of traffic, in order for the motorcyclist to pass slower-moving traffic. In California, though legal, it may be risky for motorcyclists. According to press reports , while the California Highway Patrol (CHP) allows lane splitting, they caution that it must be done safely. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), however, warns against sharing lanes all together. And if motorcyclists split lanes unsafely, they can be ticketed under provisions of California Vehicle Code Section 22350 (governing excess speed), under Section 21658 (lane changes), or 21755 (allowing passing only on the right-hand side).

Other notable California motorcycle laws:  Motorcycle applicants under 21 years of age are required to complete a Basic Rider Course before they receive a  motorcycle instruction permit. Motorcycle applicants 21 years of age and older are encouraged to take a motorcycle rider course but is not required. And in CA, all riders must wear a helmet and has recently passed laws that require motorcyclists to have EPA-compliant exhaust systems on their model year 2011 and newer motorcycles.
