James J. Tenn, Jr.
James J. Tenn, Jr. is a trial lawyer, whose practice includes personal injury, criminal defense matters, parenting disputes over children, and divorce in New Hampshire.
Jim is a member of the Best Lawyers in America, one of the oldest and most respected peer-review publications. Jim is also included in Super Lawyers, a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Jim has been recognized by New Hampshire Magazine as a top lawyer and as an ideal attorney.
Jim is a life-long resident of New Hampshire and is a proud graduate of Manchester Central High School. Jim is the immediate past President of the New Hampshire Bar Association. Jim is an active member of the New Hampshire, Manchester, and American Bar Associations. Jim currently serves on the Manchester Bar Association Executive Committee. Jim has also served the New Hampshire Bar Association as Vice-Chair; Governor-At-Large; Hillsborough County Governor; and has served as the Vice-Chair of the New Hampshire Bar Association Pro Bono Policy Advisory Board. Jim is also active in the New Hampshire Bar Foundation and continues to serve as Chair of the Foundation Development Committee.
Jim has received numerous awards. In January, 2000, Jim was recognized by the New Hampshire Bar Foundation and was presented the prestigious Robert E. Kirby award for demonstrating traits of civility, courtesy, perspective and excellent advocacy in the practice of law. In 2001, Jim was recognized by the New Hampshire Bar Association for distinguished pro bono service. Jim has also received recognition as 40 Under Forty in New Hampshire.
Jim is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He is also admitted in the United States Supreme Court. Jim received his J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 1991. He graduated from Boston College, Suma Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Among Jim's many civic and charitable activities, he is the past chairman of the Keyspan Youth Leadership Program. Jim is also the past Chair of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce Leadership Alumni Association. Jim has served on the advisory board of the Manchester Community Television. Jim is an active supporter of the Manchester Monarchs.

John J. Tenn
John J. Tenn is a founding member of Tenn And Tenn, P.A. John’s practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, auto and motorcycle accidents, criminal defense, and DWI/DUI matters in New Hampshire.
John is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a prestiguous honor only held for those who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.
John is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He also is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court.
John is an active member of the American Bar Association, and the New Hampshire and Manchester Bar Associations.
John received his J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 1992. He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
John also serves as a judge for the Harvard Law School First-year Moot Court Program.

Mary Elizabeth Tenn
Mary Elizabeth Tenn joined Tenn And Tenn, P.A. in 2001. Mary’s practice areas include personal injury, complex commercial litigation, and domestic relations matters in New Hampshire. As part of Mary’s diverse practice, she regularly represents both corporations and individual clients.
Mary is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She also is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Tenn And Tenn, P.A., Mary worked as a litigation attorney in Boston's Hale and Dorr LLP, where she was elected to partnership in 1999. During that time, Mary also served as Special Assistant District Attorney for Middlesex County and prosecuted cases on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Mary is a frequent trial advisor for the Trial Advocacy Workshop at Harvard Law School and a judge for the Harvard Law School First-year Moot Court Program.
Mary received her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where she served as Co-Chairperson of the Tenant Advocacy Project and as an editor of Harvard Civil Rights Civil Liberties Law Review. She received a B.A., summa cum laude, from Boston College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and awarded membership in the National Jesuit Honor Society—The Order of the Cross and Crown.
Born and raised in Manchester, Mary is active in local community and charitable organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Girl Scouts of Swift Water Council and the Board of Trustees for Leadership New Hampshire.
