Jason was raised in the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area. He graduated from Pepperdine University in 1992, where he received a B.A. in History. Prior to law school, Jason worked in the information technology industry for Microsoft and Boeing. He earned his law degree at Willamette University (J.D., 2000). Jason is the married father of two children. Outside of practicing law, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and is actively involved in his community.
