Welcome to Canan Law

LIFE’S NOT PERFECT. WE’RE HERE TO HELP Things happen. Sometimes things don’t work out as we planned. Sometimes accidents occur. Sometimes people make mistakes. And sometimes life leads you in a direction where you need an attorney. Canan Law is a St. Augustine-based firm of attorneys who care about you and your future. Our attorneys have served St. Augustine for more than 27 years, and we know the subtleties of Florida law and the St. Augustine judicial culture. We’re aggressive trial attorneys. Experienced malpractice attorneys. Strategic criminal attorneys.

Personal Injury

peopleAt Canan Law, our attorneys provide aggressive legal representation for clients who need an experienced personal injury attorney in St. Johns County or anywhere in Northeast Florida.

If you suffer a personal injury in St. Johns County, you are protected by tort law that gives people who are injured in an accident, through no fault of their own, the opportunities to file a claim for damages and deter others from committing the same harms. Most commonly, if you suffer a personal injury in St. Johns County, your Canan Law personal injury attorney may sue for the recovery of monetary damages on your behalf.

Personal injury due to the fault of another person (intentional or not) can vary greatly in severity, from minor discomfort to severe life-changing injuries or even death. In cases of severe personal injury, your attorney may attempt to gain an order from the St. Johns County circuit court that prevents the conduct that caused your personal injury from continuing.

Most areas of personal injury law are complicated and require extensive investigation and expert testimony, so it is imperative to be represented by a thorough and competent attorney who is well-versed in personal injury law.

For more information on how Canan Law handles a variety of personal injury claims for clients located in St. Johns County and Northeast Florida, including those resulting from medical malpractice, car accidents, product liability, and wrongful death, please contact the St. Augustine personal injury attorneys of Canan Law.
