Our Mission and History

Ad.vo.cate (noun): one who pleads the cause of another.

We are all advocates at Disability Justice. All of our initiatives revolve around one group—our clients. We treat each of our clients with individualized care and work tirelessly to safeguard Social Security disability and Supplemental Security Income so that disabled Americans can have a better quality of life. For us, our clients come first and that fact shines through in our culture of dedication, diligence and compassion.

About Disability Justice

Disability Justice was the result of the tremendous growth of the law firm of Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano. After becoming the largest firm of its kind and assisting more than 85,000 Americans in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, the firm ‘s Social Security disability department became its own advocacy group – Disability Justice.

Established in 2015, Disability Justice strives to:

  • Assist those who wish to file for SSD by providing excellent customer service, access to top-quality legal representation and educational resources.

  • Ensure a strong future for SSD through political action.

The tremendous growth that the law firm of Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano saw in only its first four years led to the creation of Disability Justice. Disability Justice has teams of experienced disability attorneys and staff members exclusively dedicated to assisting clients with their SSD and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) cases throughout all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

As an advocacy group, the company focuses its efforts solely on issues that affect SSD and Social Security’s other disability insurance program, SSI. Recently, there have been many false reports about SSD’s funding and accusations that the program is going bankrupt. Disability Justice works to combat these untrue claims and ensure that SSD and SSI remain strong, viable insurance programs for disabled Americans.

Mission statement

Disability Justice was formed with one purpose in mind — to advocate for disabled individuals across America so that they may receive the Social Security disability benefits that they earned. We believe it is a privilege to represent a disabled individual and we do not take that privilege for granted. Respect, compassion and empathy combined with top legal representation is what defines us, and providing exceptional client service is the only way we know how to do business.

  • Our case managers act as guides and will be with our clients through every step of the complicated Social Security disability process and will embrace state-of-the-art technologies to constantly improve the client experience.

  • Our attorneys specialize in only one area of the law – Social Security disability.  Through their focus, experience, professionalism and dedication they will provide exceptional legal representation at court and will zealously advocate on their clients behalf.

We pledge to always continue to improve, consistently maintain high standards for service and integrity as well as protect our clients’ rights and the Social Security system through political action. At Disability Justice, we feel that we are all in this together and that we can only be successful when our clients are successful.
